We bought this boat in the summer 2022 in Varberg, where it was located in Getterön’s marina. It’s an CT-41 Taiwan Clipper from Ta Chiao named Hemhaid. Some say it´s from 1976 and some 1974.
We had been out for a month driving around Europe on vacation and looking for a boat. By chance we saw the ad for this when we were on our way home from Europe so we took the turn to Varberg to look at it. We fell in love with it at first sight and decided at once that we want this one 🙂 First we thought we should change the name Hemhaid so we started a YouTube channel called Echo the Dream. Now we haven’t decided if we shall change the name of the boat or not but it is an unusual name so maybe we keep it.
Hemhaid has been in a vignette for a famous music show on Swedish TV, ”So much better” and some of Sweden’s most famous musicians have sat on our boat.
